Dr. Maryann Fedack (Dr. Maryann)
Dr. Maryann has lived in Atlanta since childhood. She attended Florida State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Egleston) for 15 years as a pediatric nurse, emergency room nurse and safety promotions coordinator. There, she helped develop the child safety program and was a media spokesperson for child safety including local news, CNN and Child Magazine. After realizing that her calling was to be a pediatrician, she graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Emory University School of Medicine where she received the Mary Brady Award for resident education and compassionate care. She is certified as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Maryann has practiced pediatric medicine in the Cumming and Alpharetta area and loves all aspects of pediatric care with special interests in multiple births, newborn care and child safety. Maryann is an Assistant Professor At Emory University, and helps train pediatric residents. She served on The Children’s Healthcare Network Board of Directors and Pediatric Leadership Council, and is currently a member of the Community Pediatrician Advisory Council at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Maryann lives in Sandy Springs with her husband and twin boys. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school and watching their sports activities. Maryann also enjoys gardening and decorating in her spare time.
