Summer’s winding down, the kids are heading back to school, and ragweed is starting to bloom. That means an unwelcome visitor is heading to town—Influenza!
One important way to protect yourself and your family is with influenza vaccine. As we’ve done in previous years, we’ll have plenty of flu vaccine for our patients and their immediate family available at both offices. Shortly, we’ll be setting up quick “flu vaccine clinics” at both offices to get the vaccine out into the community.
At this time, we have ONLY the mist vaccine available. This is a great option for people from age 2-49 who don’t have lung, heart, or immune disorders. If you’re at one of our offices for any reason and you’d like to get a dose of mist vaccine for yourself or your child, please ask.
We anticipate receiving shipments of the injectable flu vaccine shortly.
